Exterior window shutters?

I’m getting ready to move in to my first home. I love the inside but the outside is very plain and BRICK. I’m thinking about adding some exterior window shutter (just to change the outside look) and want to know if anyone has ever done this?

I found a site where they are under 50 per pair but will the installation be hard? If so, how much do you think it’ll run me to have a professional come in and do the job?

I tried the yellow pages but all "shutter" companies were for inside only. How do I find a company that even does this?

Look for a Handyman in the phone book. They specialize in small jobs. I installed new shutters on my brick home and used Tapcon screws. I drilled through the shutter and into the brick and inserted the screws. Took about 4 hours to hang 4 sets (3 sets on 2nd story), by myself.

Why Many People Are Choosing Quality Exterior Shutters To Beautify Their Home

Try Sears.Or, go to a home improvement store that sells shutters and look at their bulletin board, or ask a contractor customer service person.
